New Template Header Editor

Want an easy way to insert text, like your company name, into your website template header? You’ve got it!

We’ve updated the template header editor and you can now easily add up to three lines of text to your header image. We’ve also made slight changes to the header image uploading options.

To take a look, go to ‘Design’ > ‘Edit Current Template’ > ‘Edit Header’.

NOTE: To streamline the editor and encourage more user-friendly design, we’ve removed the ‘right image’ uploader, unless you currently have an image uploaded. Please note that once that right image is deleted, you will not be able to re-upload it as that feature will be disabled.

Text Editor Upgrade For Your Clients

To continue to offer you a great website builder experience, we’ve upgraded the text editor!

The upgraded text editor looks a little fresher than the old one, but works almost identically. The difference?

Cleaner Code

To create your web pages, the text editor converts your text into HTML code. The existing editor sometimes adds extra pieces of code that don’t need to be there and that can change the way your content is displayed. The upgrade reduces the amount of extra code generated, resulting in more consistent results when creating your page.

Adjustable Size

You can now adjust the size of the editor by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner. This allows you to see more of your page content without scrolling!

The upgraded editor is now on all newly created pages, and for the time being you will have the option to upgrade it on existing pages. As the editor does treat your content a little differently, you may need to make some adjustments before saving, which is why you can do it on a page by page basis.

Please upgrade the editor on all your pages by August 31, 2010, as at that time the editor will be automatically upgraded across you and your customers websites.

Google AdWords – Are You on Google Yet?

Did you know that your customers get a free $50 coupon for Google AdWords?

If they have subscribed to thier website for longer than 30 days and have not already redeemed an AdWords coupon, they should now see a new widget on the right side of thier dashboard. Through this widget they can generate a coupon code that they can redeem for $50 in Google AdWords credits.

AdWords is Google’s advertising network that positions your ads alongside search engine results. This type of advertising is also known as Pay-Per-Click, or PPC, because you only pay for your ad when it is clicked by a searcher.

Reporting Glitch for February Payout Amounts

Are you experiencing any reporting issues for February?

 

We recently launched a brand new referral program that allows your customers to earn credits towards a free website for each sale they refer to you.

 

While our new program has gotten a TON of positive response from resellers, rolling it out has resulted in a small bug in our reporting system.

 

Specifically, several resellers have reported seeing inaccurate February payout amounts on their stats dashboards over the last few days. Some payout amounts appear lower than expected. This includes seeing a “$0.00” invoice which shows a payout of negative $10.00.

 

We apologize for any discrepancy and we are working to resolve this to provide you with accurate stats.

 

Please rest assured that when you receive your payout check for February, it will reflect the accurate payout amount you are owed.

New Referral Program is Live for Your Customers!

To show you how grateful we are for every customer you refer, we’re improving how our referral program works!

With the old program, you got your site for free whether you referred 3 or 300 people. With the new program, the more people you refer, the bigger the reward!

Here’s how it works:

  1. You get a link that you can distribute a number of ways (Twitter, email, website footer, etc.)
  2. For every person that signs up through your link, you get 5 credits for every month their site is active.
  3. Each credit is worth $1 and can be redeemed by phone to pay for your website subscription.

You’ll find the new “Get a Free Website” program under “Free Website” below your profile picture on your Dashboard.

NOTE: For your customers that had already referred more than 3 active websites and had your website for free, we started them off with up to 400 credits. These credits were calculated based on the number of referring active websites they had at the time of the changeover and how long each of those sites had been active. These credits are meant to keep the site free until the credits start building up again!

Website Dynamics Sales Team Will Sell For You!

Hi There!

 

We can all agree that with the current economic situation, a team of trained sales experts could really help by pumping up your conversions and your revenue each month.

 

Well, over the past 3 months we’ve been growing an internal sales team to close Citymax.com customer sales.  They use some great tactics and systems to increase conversions, and it’s working.

We would like to offer you an amazing opportunity to have our internal sales team contact and close your leads and trials for you.  This will come at no additional cost.  Your monthly $10.00 wholesale fee will not increase.

Here’s how this will work:

1)      This is an OPT-IN program.  You will have to email Patrick Schrodt, your Reseller Relations Manager, to agree to be a part of this program.  In the email subject line, include the words “OPT-IN”.

2)      This will be a 90-day trial.  After 90 days, we will re-assess the program.

3)      Our sales team will be using their own methods to close the leads.  We will use our scripts and systems to coach and provide support to help close these trials for you.  Sorry, but at this time you won’t be able to provide your own systems, scripts, sales tactics or special offers.

4)      Our sales team will offer your clients the prices you have set in your host package.  They will not lower prices, raise prices or provide any special offers.  They will simply be selling the website builder at the prices you have set in your system.

5)      In certain cases, our sales team may offer your client 1-2 months of free service.  We have found that this can help to close a customer sale.  You would lose out on revenue for those months.  WebsiteDynamics would also of course lose any revenue during those free service months.  However in the end, the customer will potentially end up staying longer as a paid customer.

6)      Our sales team will act as if they are working for you and your brand.  Just like the support is private-labeled, the sales team will be doing the same.

7)     The calls will be strictly for sales.   They will be providing the information needed in order to make a sale.  All support will still go through the online support ticket system.

8 )  The sales team will be leaving emails and voicemails with your customers acting as your sales team.  Your customers will be provided with a generic “WebsiteDynamics” phone number and emails will be sent from a generic “Website Coaching Support” email address.

9)      Not all resellers may be approved for the program.  WebsiteDynamics reserves the right to remove any reseller from the program at any time, for any reason.

This is a great opportunity for all of you.  If you are currently using your own sales systems, sales floors or coaching teams, this offer may not apply to you.
