When we started, CitySlide/CityMax were the first dynamic website builders online, replacing the brochure style sites that the web grew up on. The reseller program came about to satisfy the daily inquiries to private label the website builder technology.
WebsiteDynamics and ResellerDynamics were designed to manage and support resellers while providing a layer of privacy between our private label partners and their customers. We tried hard to make everyone happy and be as flexible as possible, allowing resellers to opt out of features and offers.
Today we have resellers with thousands, hundreds, dozens and some with just a handful of sites. The unintended consequence of this was that the rebranded product started to lag behind CityMax to accommodate the preferences of people opting in and out of standard features one would expect on any site.
We invest millions of dollars every year marketing, testing and optimizing our corporate sites. Because of this, the corporate sites achieve higher trial and conversion rates than resellers do. Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to pass these innovations along to you as we are handcuffed by the requests of a few to exclude features.
The other challenge is that by making so many options available it doubles the time for new feature development and quality control.
This has essentially created two website builders. One for corporate sites and the other for resellers.
This is about to change.
The WebsiteDynamics team is determined for you to have your best year in 2009. To help you do this, we will be updating your website builder. You will see a new look, new features, a new trial process, increased customer support and education and some exciting new revenue opportunities for you.
To do this we will be making some features and options mandatory. This will allow for rapid feature development and the ability for us to help you make sales and keep your customers longer.
Finally, I would like to introduce “Guyd.” He’s a tiny bit of each one of us here. He’s passionate about your success as a Reseller and he knows the ropes. He lives the ResellerDynamics Vision and will be cheering you on in the background. He has experience on the Reseller side and the customer side, and he is here to help. You’ll get to know him well over the weeks ahead and I think you‘ll grow to love him as we have.
