Thanks for the Intro Dean!
You’ve all had some questions over the years that we want to tackle for you. This way all of you can be on the same page for some commonly asked reseller related questions!
1) Why is WebsiteDynamics on the customer’s credit card statement?
With close to 600 Resellers, you could imagine the amount of individual merchant accounts we would need to have for each reseller. By using the one account, “Website Dynamics,” you can efficiently receive payouts and ensure proper billing to your customers each and every month.
Truth be Told…We’ve found that customers don’t even notice this, and if they do, they realize who Website Dynamics is.
2) Why are WebsiteDynamics / Mezine mentioned in the TOS?
WebsiteDynamics was created just to put that layer between your customers and us. It’s a generic name used by all resellers. We need to mention Mezine because ultimately we are responsible for the customer support and all of your customer’s websites are on our servers. We are also partnered up with some of the best partners around. Companies like eBay and Google ensure that our agreements use one company name across the board, including you, our resellers.
3) Why does Website Dynamics have to have control of my Domain Name?
Because Website Dynamics provides the end hosting to all of the customer sites, we want to make sure the sites are always live and running. If all of the host domain names are located securely in a central domain registrar, we can easily maintain and manage all of them. Because they are located in our corporate Enom.com account, they are always renewed each year, the DNS is always set correctly, and your reseller sites are always live and running!
4) Why can’t my Reseller site look like some of WebsiteDynamics Corporate sites?
WebsiteDynamics and our corporate sites are a test engine for your reseller website. Over the years you may have noticed some differences in WebsiteDynamics landing pages and yours. We’re always building and adding new features to the technology, and for the most part, you and your customers reap those awesome benefits. Sometimes we launch a feature that requires testing and analytics to ensure it’s a success. Before we launch a tool across the board to all the resellers, we want to make sure it works. In 2009, you’ll see some great things come out of testing into your reseller account. Both you and your customers are going to love it!
5) What is included in the $10.00 monthly Wholesale Cost?
I could sum it up in one word: Team. You have a team of over 35 web professionals working behind you to ensure you are offering your client the best online website builder in the world!
We handle all of the billing for you. You will never have to worry about accepting a check or calling your customer for payment each month. We process the customer’s credit card for you and send you the difference via check at the start of each month.

They will answer any question your customers can think of, and it’s all branded under your name. This makes it look like you have an entire support team right with you at all times.
We handle the hosting. Servers are heavy, expensive and take up a ton of room! The $10.00 wholesale fee includes all of the hosting and maintenance on all of your customer’s websites. 6) What are other Reseller’s doing to Make Money and Grow?
This is one of the most common questions asked to our team. There are a ton of different ways to tackle the reseller program to become a success. We have resellers with thousands of sites and some with only a few that are just as happy. One of the main goals of this blog is to educate you on growing your client base. We will have success stories, case studies and examples of how some resellers are getting new trials and customers each month.
2009 is going to be a great year for you, your customers and the Reseller Program!
Talk to you soon!
